3MF can store more than a shape. This converter reads the primary build, places its components, converts the declared units to millimeters and gives you a preview before export.

Export all printable build items together or select one. Assembly positions are retained.
Import using millimeters. Colors, textures, material assignments and slicer settings are not included.
This tool preserves the selected triangles and shows topology diagnostics. Overlapping components are combined into one file without a boolean union. To clean common mesh defects, download the STL and open it in the STL repair tool.
Core triangle meshes and production-extension part references are supported within the documented limits. Required extensions outside that scope stop conversion with an explanation. A sliced G-code-only 3MF contains no recoverable triangle model. Read compatibility details.
No. STL carries surface triangles, not printer profiles, plate assignments, filament settings or color painting. Keep the original 3MF if you need to edit those settings later. Compatibility is checked structurally; this version has not been certified against every slicer release.
3MF is a compressed package and can reuse mesh objects. A binary STL repeats three vertex coordinates for every triangle. The output size is 84 bytes plus 50 bytes per triangle.
Try the included inch calibration model: its one-inch extents become 25.4 × 25.4 × 25.4 mm. The converter applies the source unit after all assembly transforms. Select millimeters when importing the result into a slicer.
Only if the package also contains supported model geometry and a build. Toolpaths alone cannot be converted back into the original surface mesh by this tool.
